Hacking Your Way to Waking Up Fully Charged Everyday

For many people waking up is plain hard and then getting ready for the day ahead is equally inevitable. You’re one of us if you’ve hit the snooze button way too many times but in this article, we’ll be showing you some ways to charge yourself up for the day ahead.

Here are some tips to help you feel energised every morning:

A Good Night’s Sleep:

It is no rocket science that a good night’s sleep helps you feel energized and fully charged for the day.  Studies suggest that 7-8 hours of sleep is quite good for the mind and the body. Set an alarm for your bedtime. If you have trouble sleeping, try to dim the room or turn off the lights. Make the room airy and a little cold. Open the windows. And wake up when the alarm rings first thing in the morning.

Meditate:

Research has shown that meditating before sleep results in a good night’s sleep. Similarly, doing breathing exercises before bed also helps in sleeping peacefully. As these both techniques are good stress relievers, they calm the mind so that you could sleep better.

Be prepared for the next day’s work:

One of the reasons why people feel anxious when sleeping and cannot get thoughts out of their heads is because of the next day’s looming work. The feat that you will either miss a presentation or have not prepared for work or school and the thought that something may go wrong dreads you which results in stressing and tossing all night long. So, prepare yourself for the next day. Have your bag ready and most importantly be mentally prepared.

Physical exercises:

Research has shown that those people who do physical exercise before going to work are more likely to stay focused throughout the day. Because exercise releases endorphins, a chemical that immediately elevates one’s mood, and helps them stay focused and concentrated. And for this reason, many psychologists and doctors recommend people with anxiety and depression try high-intensity workouts regularly.

A good breakfast:

Having a good breakfast to start your day is a great way to get yourself ready for the day. Although this is a factor that is overlooked, yet no one can deny the advantages of a good breakfast. Research and studies have shown a deep correlation between a good breakfast and mental and physical health. A good breakfast apart from boosting your physical health also helps you focused on the day ahead.

There are many other factors apart from the ones mentioned here that contribute to a good day. However, having a healthy lifestyle, maintaining a good diet, doing regular physical activities and a positive attitude towards life are some major factors that influence a good healthy life.
